To Start off Bean Styled Health and Fitness here are some of our favorite Healthy Recipes. Along with eating a balanced and nutritious diet you must get your daily intake of water. H2O keeps skin healthy, the body hydrated, and keeps those cravings away. A Daily multivitamin along with Omega Fish Oil for heart health. To Begin a Healthy Lifestyle change you must have self-discipline and be strict with yourself. It is the only way to break those bad habits you have been doing for years. There is much room for sweets. Don’t think you have to deprive yourself you just have to learn proportions, processed food’s, and those things called GMO’s. Which we will discuss and divulge more into with future articles.
One thing you can get rid of forever is Soda! The stuff should not even be consumed as a sweet treat.
1/4 cup Vegetable broth
1 TBSP OJ
1/4 cup Whole Wheat Couscous
1/4 cup Thawed Frozen Peas (Fresh or Frozen NEVER canned)
1/4 cup Chopped Tomatoes
Cook the Couscous as directed but with the Vegetable broth instead of water. Add the thawed out peas once the couscous is cooked throw in the tomatoes and let set a few minutes covered. Ready to Serve!
Red Pepper Hummus
1 head of Garlic
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
16 oz of Chickpeas
1/2 cup of Red Peppers slightly grilled then chopped
5 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice
1/2 teaspoon of salt
Pinch of Cumin
Blend all Ingredients and serve with Fresh Pita
Greek yogurt Ever one has their favorite brand so I say pick your favorite and we Absolutely Love CHOBANI Greek and take a 1/4 cup of once of the following.
Fruit,Nut, Grain Cereals
Nuts such as Almonds, pecans, walnuts
Switching it up Makes it a Great Snack that never gets old and oh so healthy!
Favorite Pork Chop Recipe
2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
Pinch of Pepper
2 Tablespoons of balsamic Vinegar
1 Tablespoon of Cocoa Chile Blend
Blend Pepper and Chile Blend. Place Pork Chops in bowl with oil and vinegar let soak for 5 minutes take out season both sides Grill up then Serve with your Confetti Couscous
Bean Styled Famous Tuna
2 16oz Can Chicken of the Sea Tuna in Water
1 Tablespoon of Mustard
1 Tablespoon of Light Miracle Whip
Mix Together and Serve with fresh pita or on whole wheat or grain bread
Salmon or halibut Grilled with olive oil
Serve with 1/3 cup Mango Salsa
Lettuce Spinach Bowl
You need a leaf or two from a Head of Lettuce to make your bowl
Add A handful of Fresh Baby Spinach Leaves
Add your favorite vegetables and or Beans(protein) inside the bowl
For meat protein either add, Grilled Chicken or Fish
