Herbs and Tea have been around really… Forever. Hopefully you all know that tea is healthy for you to drink, but also as a beauty regimen. Asian countries especially Japan have believed tea to be the reason behind oriental’s beautiful, smooth, wrinkle free skin. Green Tea is among the favorite, and most tested, but you may use any of your favorite tea for the recipes below. Tea is known to be full of antioxidants, great for hydration, soften the skin, add shine to hair, and De-puff tired eyes. Enjoy your Tea Time, and relax.
De-Puff Bag’s~ Soak two tea bags in ice water for about 10 minutes. Place over eyelids for 10-15 minutes, lay back and Relax
Tea Facial: Soak a wash cloth in a hot bowl of your favorite tea, place over face (makes sure it’s not to hot) for 5 minutes, repeat, then rinse with cool water. This is also a great way to open the pores before a deep cleansing facial, just don’t apply the cool water instead proceed with your facial.
Tea Hair Shine: Brew a pot of green tea, black tea for dark hair, about 6 cups. 1/2 cup of olive oil. Soak Hair for Ten minutes, then wrap in a warm towel (throw one in the dryer) Relax for 10 minutes, then Shampoo Out, Rinse with Cool Water.
