Let me Introduce you to Once Again Nut Butter. A wonderful American company doing great things. Thanks to Mom’s Meet for picking me to be a “Mom Blogger” and “Mom Ambassador” I got to try Once Again free for reviewing and sharing the Product and company. But, All opinion is my own. We enjoyed learning about the company. An I loved the four Once Again Nut Butters I got to try. Let me tell you more.
Once Again has a great beginning story. Not only did it start out as a small company in the state of New York. The Raccoon mascot actually was created because of the baby racoons they adopted after the mom was gone. Besides being good to nature. The products are all natural, Organic, kosher and non GMO.
The nut butters we got to sample were the Sunflower, Almond, Cashew, and good ol Peanut butter. The sunflower was definitely an interesting taste. I love Sunflower seeds an the Sunflower nut butter taste creamy with a hint of sunflower.
The Peanut Butter is great. Unless your my 7 year old an so used to PB with sugar, she wasn’t a fan. But, as soon as you slap on Jelly to the other side of the bread. She ate it with no complaints. I enjoy the fact there are no added ingredients you can’t pronounce.
The Almond Butter was so yummy. As someone who loves Almonds. It’s amazing to have a whole jar of almond heaven. This has a slightly bumpy texture. I used this in creating my smoothie and granola bars. Look for recipes at the end of this blog.
My favorite to put on toast, waffles, pancakes was the Cashew Butter. I love cashews and this is so delicious and smooth. The possibilities for creating recipes are endless. Purple Power Protein Smoothie
- 1/4 cup Blueberries
- 2 Scoops Protein Powder
- 1 cup Ice
- 12oz cup Almond Milk (Or Milk)
- 2TBSP OA Almond Nut Butter
Mix all in Blender. Pour and Enjoy!
Nut Butter Granola Bars
- 2 1/2 Cup Oats
- 2 tbsp Almond Nut Butter
- 1/3 cup Honey
- 1/3 Brown Sugar
- 1/4 cup Butter (cut up)
- 1/2 tbsp Vanilla
- Pinch of Salt
- 1/2 Cup Raisins
- Handful of dark chocolate chips
Bake Oats in Oven at 350° for 5 minutes Stir and Bake another 5 Minutes.
On stove heat up butter, Brown Sugar, vanilla, honey, and salt. Low heat until sugar and all is melted.
In bowl mix Oats, Almond Butter, Stove mixture. Stir and coat oats. Mix well. Let cool for 5 Minutes then add in raisins stir, and add in Chocolate chips, stir. Press in Pan and cool in refrigerator for 2 hours. Cut and enjoy!
