I'm a Home Schooling Mom Of Two. I appreciate many things that can educate self teaching. Museum's and Libraries for example. Today I took my kids on their first of our many "Field Trips" this school year. We visited the @lvnhmuseum They were both so into all the displays. As were my mother in law an myself fascinated by all the education an things to do. I have been many places and the Las Vegas Natural History Museum is spectacular an a blessing to have in our community. Wore my Title of Mrs. Henderson NV an promoted the Western US Nevada American Elegance Pageant coming up this weekend!!!! I got sooo many great pics of the kid's as well as artifacts. These don't do justice to all that is there from Human Evolution. The Dinosaur an Egyptian exhibits. Natural Earth Science. Great Memories Made with my girl's. Out and About in my Community today stopping by the Non-Profit @blindcenterofnv A week ago I was looking for a place to donate all our old eyeglasses. We had about 5/6 pairs including kids. Unfortunately, everyone in the home wears glasses. So when the center replied to my email that they always accept glasses for donation. I was very happy. My mother in law has 2 pairs to now donate. Husband and daughter have appintments coming up where they will both have new glasses an old ones to donate. It is great to learn more about what the Center does to inspire Hope, Provide living, host events for an to support the blind community. Also learned you can donate your used electronics like laptops here. Which we have two laying around. I am sure many have old glasses an used electronics like we do. Instead of adding to trash we can recycle an donate. Some of my favorite things to do! If you're local check out #theblindcenterofnevada If you live somewhere else.
